At home with my family in Bugembe

 

This blog is my story (or at least part) of returning to my second home in Bugembe, Uganda. I’ll be sharing my thoughts and experiences as I work with the mental health support group Atanekontola. Thanks to a grant from the Alice Rowan Swanson Fellowship and generous donations from friends and family we’ll be building a mental health clinic in Bugembe, as well as a patients’ rights advocacy movement. We’d all love to hear thoughts, comments or questions about our work!
